Sculptor, painter and printmaker

Biography

Born in Brazil. Following degrees in both art and music at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás and the Federal University of Goiás she went on to complete a postgraduate course in music and education at the Federal University of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.

She taught and lectured for several years at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás and the Federal University of Goiás before coming to England in 1973 on a British Council Scholarship to the Slade School of Fine Art. Since 1973 she has lived and worked in England.

 

Her work has been widely exhibited and is in a number of private and public collections in the UK and overseas.
